Happy Summer! Updates from Shift Creative Agency

Happy summer! Just like the rays outside, Shift Creative Agency is getting hot! We’d love to share a little about what we’ve been up to lately.

Wake Forest University STEM Initiative

This spring, we partnered with Wake Forest University’s Computer Science Department to create a short film about one of the Department’s most exciting courses, the STEM Initiative. Click the image below to take a look at its impressive story!

When the Department approached Shift Creative Agency, they weren’t exactly sure how to tell their story. They just knew that every semester, they witnessed incredible growth and transformation in their students, many of whom had never taken a computer science class before. By partnering with us, we were able to distill the overarching themes that would be most relevant to their segmented target audience, including prospective students, donors, and the Wake Forest community. From there, Shift produced a visually engaging piece with modern graphic touches and compelling emotional hooks to make the story come alive for all viewers.

Tiny Houses Greensboro

Last February, Shift Creative Agency collaborated with Tiny Houses Greensboro (THG), a local organization whose mission is to use tiny house architecture as a solution for people experiencing homelessness. Through strategic planning, we helped THG clarify why tiny houses can be a superior housing solution to shelters. Based on these strategic conversations, we developed a 3-part series that highlighted each of the following themes: pride, stability, and inspiration. Using the personal stories of THG board members, who have experienced homelessness themselves, we were able to create impactful video profiles illustrating the true need for new ways of thinking about solutions for homelessness in our community.
